  • General Approach

    I believe that change happens within the context of a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. I have advanced training in multiple modalities and tailor each treatment based on your needs. Therapy will begin with an initial assessment for me to learn about you and for you to learn what it’s like to work with me. We will work collaboratively to understand your goals and come up with a plan for treatment. My practice is culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming.

  • Individual Therapy

    My role is not to tell you what to do, but to provide tools, ask questions, listen carefully and provide you with feedback and insights where you might have blindspots. Sometimes treatment can be short-term, focused on helping navigate difficult life transitions, such as starting college, welcoming a child, changing jobs or ending a relationship. In other instances, it can be longer term, as we work together to help you understand yourself more deeply.

  • Couples Counseling

    I work with couples on a variety of issues such as conflict and arguing, navigating life transitions and intimacy. I also provide premarital counseling as couples explore expectations, beliefs and values prior to making a commitment. Couples sessions focus on working to enhance communication, foster empathy and develop a deeper understanding of one another.
